Studio E Architects worked with the committee and the contractor to determine how to make the most efficient use of the congregation’s dollars and complete a building that will serve their needs for years to come. From the beginning the building needed to include flexibility of use and the Fellowship Hall and Narthex areas are combined into a central core pre-function area that can be utilized for several different activities. With this connection that continues through the north/south section of the facility, daylight floods into the building and transforms the overall feeling of the space. Connection to the preschool and classroom area is through a secure reception and check-in desk that allows for security directly adjacent to the flexible fellowship hall. The modern design has a sense of warmth and is inviting with the wood casework and stone accents. The sanctuary has a black box approach which allows for flexibility of use. The project was completed and opened in the Spring of 2022.
